Welcome to
The Kid's Learning Bank
AGL is an innovative online platform focused on providing customisable primary-level worksheets, catering to the diverse learning needs of children. Our service empowers parents, educators, and tutors to create tailored learning materials that enhance the educational experience for young learners. By combining ease of use with a wide range of customisable topics, AGL aims to make quality education accessible and engaging for all students.
At AGL, we envision a future where every child, regardless of their learning style or pace, has access to high-quality, personalised educational resources that transform the traditional learning experience into an engaging journey. Our goal is to foster a love for learning by enabling children to explore and discover knowledge at their own rhythm, thereby cultivating curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills.
At AGL, we embrace the UK national curriculum but with a twist! We’ve simplified and broken it down into easily digestible formats that anyone can understand. Our resources offer clear, detailed descriptions of what to expect in English, Maths, and Science at the primary level. We take a fresh approach to education, covering topics from reception all the way to year 6. We’ve done the legwork for you—just let us know what you want to focus on, and we’ll handle the rest!
As a parent to four energetic boys, each just two years apart, I’ve often found it a bit of a challenge to stay ahead of their studies. Each child is unique, with their own learning styles, strengths, and interests, which sometimes feels like navigating a minefield! No matter where I turned for help, it seemed like all the resources offered a one-size-fits-all approach that just didn’t resonate with my family’s needs. I spent countless hours searching for the perfect study materials that would work for each of my boys. Eventually, I decided enough was enough and launched AGL.
While many resources provide detailed worksheets on specific topics, they often don’t allow for mixing and matching—like trying to combine subtraction and division, which drove me up the wall! That’s precisely why I created AGL. Here, you have the freedom to mix and match any topics within a subject to your heart’s content!
With a long-standing family tradition in primary education (my parents both worked in primary schools), we collectively hold over 50 years of experience at this level. I’ve witnessed first-hand the tremendous stress that Covid has put on teachers, and I’m proud to say that our platform is designed to help educators create targeted work tailored to the individual needs of their students.
We’re genuinely passionate about primary education, so much so that we’re collaborating with several charities to provide essential resources for those who need them most. Whether it’s through donations of money or learning materials like books and apparatus, we aim to offer opportunities for others and ensure valuable resources don’t just gather dust on our shelves while they could be transformative for someone else.
My goal with AGL is to create a supportive software platform for parents and caregivers who want the best for their children but may not know where to start. As the saying goes, “You don’t know what you don’t know.” I envision a welcoming space where anyone—parents, caregivers, tutors, teachers—can find the tools and knowledge they need to help the next generation thrive.
Since becoming a parent, I’ve been determined to help my boys with their studies in ways my parents couldn’t support me. The research I undertook before my eldest even started nursery added up to at least 100 hours, and it’s an ongoing journey! They have endless questions, and I’m always eager to learn alongside them. My deep dive into the UK curriculum has equipped me with a wealth of knowledge that I’m excited to share through AGL.
I’ve also noticed a common sentiment among parents: many feel that the education system is in need of an upgrade. It’s not that the system itself is broken; rather, it’s the approach that requires a little refreshing, and that’s exactly what I aim to provide with AGL. I want to empower parents and caregivers to take an active role in supporting their children’s education alongside their teachers.
Today’s children have faced numerous setbacks in their studies, but with the right support and resources, I truly believe they can come back stronger than ever.
